We are committed to taking the time and using our resources to help the Santa Barbara Community we know and love so much. We enjoy serving our community so much that in 2020 Brianna earned the Realtor Community Service Award for her involvement with the Teacher’s Fund.
For every home we sell, we donate to the Teacher’s Fund. The Teacher’s Fund was founded by Village Properties in 2002 as a way to help local teachers obtain the supplies they need to help educate Santa Barbara’s children. Since 2002 we at Teacher’s Fund are proud to have donated over $2 million to our local Santa Barbara area schools.
We as individuals continuously donate our time to the Teacher’s Fund and have served on various committees for TF events for years, Brianna also serves on the Teacher’s Fund Board of Directors. Most recently, Brianna spearheads Teacher’s Fund’s major annual fundraiser, the Back to School Supplies Drive – in the Drive’s first year (2019) we raised over $53,000 for Teacher’s Fund, each year, the fundraiser has increased the amount raised, this past year bringing in over $80,000 for our local classrooms pushing us over our goal of $2 million raised in 20 years of Teacher’s Fund..

As members of the SB Chamber of Commerce, we make it a point to stay up-to-date on the happenings in Santa Barbara government and business and are able to network with a wide variety of Santa Barbarans. Brianna was an Ambassador with the Chamber for 5 years fostering connections in the Santa Barbara business community.
Brianna joined the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors Board in 2020 and served as a board member for 2 years assisting in high-level discussion and decision making for the Association during a pivotal time in our world.
Dianne is a member of the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors Statistical Review Committee. Here she is able to stay incredibly in touch with the market and helps to organize the yearly Real Estate Economic Review and Forecast to educate the Santa Barbara real estate community.
Brianna was a founding member of the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors Young Professionals Network in 2016 and served for 2 years as the committee chair from 2018 - 2019. This organization focuses on giving back to the community and has participated in numerous events including beach clean-ups, Habitat for Humanity build days, United Way’s Day of Caring and other charitable organizations.
Brianna is a member of the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors CORE Committee. Working with a handful of other agents and affiliates, the committee organizes numerous events throughout the year for the association and the community. The largest event is a Charity Golf Tournament which benefits a different non-profit each year.
Dianne and Brianna are proud supporters of the American Heart Association. They are honored to attend and support the annual Go Red for Women luncheon each year and served on the luncheon committee in 2018-19. In addition, they captained the Village Properties Team for the Heart Walk each September.
It is truly our passion to help people build their lives through homeownership. We like to do our part to help those who work in our community own a home in our community. This is why we participate in the Coastal Housing Partnership. If a client’s company also participates in the program, a portion of our commission is credited back to our client.
